If we loved like GOD, there would be no strife,

For we would make choices that would nurture life;

If we planned like GOD, there would be no greed,

For all God’s children would now have what they need;

If we could see like GOD, life would be just,

For all God’s children could soon expect real trust;

If we could hear like GOD, we’d hear each heart,

And we would offer to each a brand new start;

If we loved like GOD, there would be no fear,

For the love we oft confirm would be sincere;

We think like GOD when we put on Christ’s mind,

The best of God’s will has the hope we would find;

We plan like GOD when we offer the best,

The gift from our hearts so all life will be blest;

We see like GOD through the eyes of God’s son,

The vision we see: God’s love for everyone;

We hear like GOD through the heart of Jesus,

That grace we hear can forgive and release us;

We love like GOD when we offer God’s love,

The joy we reflect is God’s gift from above!
