"Teach me, O Lord, the meaning of Your laws, and I will obey absolutely above suspicion not only in the sight of God but
them at all times. Explain Your law to me; I will keep it with
all my heart. Lead me in Your commandments, because, in

Scout: A Scout is Trustworthy.
People: "For we take thought beforehand and aim to be honest and
also in the sight of men." (2 Corinthians 8:21)
Scout: A Scout is Loyal.
People: "What is desired in a man is loyalty." (Proverbs 19:22)
Scout: A Scout is Helpful.
People: "Where will my help come from? My help comes from the Lord
who made heaven and earth." (Psalms 121: 1-2)
Scout: A Scout is Friendly.
People: "Some companions are good for only idle talk only but a friend may
stick closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18: 24)
Scout: A Scout is Courteous.
People: "Finally, be all of one mind, compassion for each, love as brothers,
be courteous." (1 Peter 3: 8)
Scout: A Scout is Kind.
People: "You should try your hardest to supplement your faith with
brotherly kindness." (2 Peter 1: 5-7)
Scout: A Scout is Obedient.
People: "By your obedience to the truth you purified yourselves
and now have a sincere love for your fellow believers."

Scout: A Scout is Cheerful.
People: "A merry heart makes a cheerful face."
Scout: A Scout is Thrifty.
People: " Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful
in managing small amounts, I will put you in charge of large
amounts. Come on in and share my happiness." (Matthew 25:23)
Scout: A Scout is Brave.
People: "The Lord is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one."

Scout: A Scout is Clean.
People: "What God the Father considers to be pure religion is this:
take care of orphans and widows in their suffering, and keep oneself
from being corrupted by the world." (James 1: 27)
Scout: A Scout is Reverent.
People: "So, then, my brothers, because of God's mercy; I do appeal to you;
offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God dedicated to His service and
pleasing to Him. (Romans 12: 1)
